Ihor Masiakin

Ihor Masiakin is a Ukrainian political analyst and international tax lawyer. He began his career at leading Ukrainian and international law and consulting firms. Since 2019 he was engaged as an external advisor to Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance under an EBRD-funded program. 

After Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, his research pivoted to mil-tech and security studies. He co-founded ‘Solid Info’, a strategic-intelligence platform that coordinates a network of experts producing weekly political reporting for policymakers, business and diplomats. He also co-founded a Ukrainian defence-tech startup based in Estonia and a foundation supporting Ukrainian military units.
